After the success of the first Sherburn in Elmet Craft & Food Festival in 2017, the festival will be returning for its second year this August bank holiday weekend. The Craft and Food Festival will have free cooking demonstrations, children’s entertainment & activities as well as a host of competitions for adults and children, and over 100 craft and food stalls.
Great British Bake Off star, Howard Middleton, will be returning to the Sherburn in Elmet Craft & Food Festival this year as the main chef and will be opening the event on Saturday 25th August. Other chefs who will be in attendance at the Sherburn in Elmet Craft and Food Festival include; Nigel Brown, Chris Hale and Stephanie Moon.
A variety of both indoor and outdoor stalls will be on display and will also include local charities and groups. There will be a range of hot and cold food stalls inside and outside such as a variety of cheeses, meats, condiments and savoury goods. There will also be a wide variety of craft stalls selling items such as bath bombs, jewellery, home furnishings, artwork, clothing and much more.
In addition to the above, there will also be live entertainment throughout the festival which is sure to be fun for the whole family.
Due to popular request, on Sunday the 26th August, Sherburn in Elmet Craft & Food Festival will be extending their opening hours until 8:00 pm to accommodate for a later evening – AfterFEST. Click here to see more details regarding AfterFEST.
