A Historic Yorkshire Village

The Frozen Roman

Sunday 27th October 2019
The Frozen Roman

Come along and see the fantastic live comedy The Frozen Roman at the Old Girls’ School on Sunday 27th October at 7.30pm.

They came, they saw, they built a wall… they went away again. Or did they? An emergency meeting at the pub gets heated as villagers rack their brains for new ways to fight the imminent housing development that threatens village life as they know it. The discovery of an ancient burial site under foot may just throw them a lifetime if they can somehow authenticate their mysterious findings. But things aren’t always what they seem!

Expect to laugh your socks off as the situation goes “ballisticus maximus” in this original comedy from Kate Bramley and Badapple Theatre. With original songs and music by Jez Lowe (SONY award-winning singer songwriter, BBC Radio 2 ‘Radio Ballads’ project.) (Sourced from Badapple Theatre Company)
