A community initiative has been set up called the Sherburn Coronavirus Aid Group (SCAG) with the aim of offering support and help to the vulnerable and those that are self-isolating during the Covid-19 outbreak.
The group is made up of members from Selby District Council, Sherburn in Elmet Parish Council, Sherburn in Elmet Community Trust, Sherburn Visiting Scheme, Sherburn White Rose, Eversley Park Committee and the recently formed Sherburn in Elmet – Isolation Help.
The group aims to co-ordinate help to those in need during the current Coronavirus crisis through a mixture of professionals, volunteers and community groups.
Based at the Eversley Park Centre, the SCAG control centre will be staffed from 9.00am – 5.00pm.
