A huge Craft and Food festival will be coming to Sherburn over the 3 day August Bank Holiday 2017, with over 70 craft stalls, 20 vintage stalls, and 50 food stalls, vintage cars, motorbikes, birds of prey, live entertainment each day, celebrity chefs, children’s cookery school. There will be craft and food competitions and the event will in all parts of Sherburn, to include Eversley Park, the village centre, the Methodist church, All Saints Church, The Old Girls’ School and much more.
The event will be supported by Welcome to Yorkshire, Selby District Council, Sherburn Parish Council, Elmet Lions plus large and small local businesses. We are expecting people to come from all over Yorkshire and beyond as it will be one of the biggest events held over August Bank Holiday. It is intended to make this an annual 3 day event with all profits to benefit the Sherburn community.
If you would like to be involved or would like a stall, we have regular monthly meetings which are publicised around the village (the next meeting is this Friday 13th Jabnuary, 7pm at Eversley Park) . With your help we can make this a huge success for Sherburn.
Further updates will come in due course.
