Village Centre Plants

Many of you will know that the magnolias in the village centre were not prospering and we arranged for these to replaced (at no cost to the village) with Photinia Red Robin, a hardy plant which can be pruned to shape, does not shed leaves, but if pruned regularly produces fiery red leaves that look attractive and which can be underplanted with flowers in summer to provide colour.

The Photinia have been planted today and with spring just round the corner we hope they flourish.
