Sherburn Youth Hub

Unlike in previous years, at the moment we do not have anywhere suitable for young people to socialise and take part in activities. Funding from the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner has been secured to provide a new Youth Hub which will provide a safe, supervised space for activities two nights a week initially.
The Hub will cater for young people aged between 11 and 19 and will run for a 12 month trial period. The aim of the project is to reduce anti-social behaviour through positive intervention and engagement with young people in a supervised environment. The proposed location for the Hub is at the White Rose Sports and Social Club.
You are welcome to attend a drop-in consultation event on Tuesday 30 May from 5.30 to 8.30pm at the White Rose Sports and Social Club. This event is your chance to learn more about the project and share your views.
