Sherburn High Post 16 students are celebrating today with 98% of students passing their course; over a third at A* – B and 72% at A* – C.
Particularly impressive results were achieved by the following students:

George Hathaway – A*BB – Newcastle University: Mathematics
Daniel Plummer – A*BB – Newcastle University: Mathematics
Louis Lofthouse – ABBB – Liverpool University: Computer Science
Assistant Headteacher and Head of Sixth Form, Dan Kirby was really pleased with the results: “Our students have worked incredibly hard over the past 2 years and it’s fantastic to see them reap the rewards. I have no doubt they will go on to do great things at their chosen universities/ apprenticeships/ jobs – we’re exceptionally proud of all of them”
Headteacher, Miriam Oakley was also delighted with the results and “A levels are such an important milestone in a student’s life and employers and university really look at them closely. It’s fantastic to see our students achieve these outstanding results that will stay with them throughout their lives. The results reflect the incredible hard work and commitment from the staff and students.”
