Osgoldcross and Elmet Rotary are now taking applications for their Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA). The Rotary Youth Leadership Award is a chance for young people aged 16 and 17 from the local area to participate in a six-day training course.
To qualify for the award candidates must meet certain criteria (details of which can be found in the document below). They must then write in less than 100 words why they think they would be a suitable candidate for the award. After submitting their statement and details to the Osgolcross and Elmet Rotary Club their applications will be reviewed. If successful, applicants will be invited to attend a formal interview.
Upon completing the interview candidates will be given feedback and informed of the outcome within five days. If successful, the Rotary will fully fund a six-day RYLA District 1040 leadership skills training course which will commence in Summer 2020. Candidates who are successful must be able to commit to the course dates.
For more specific information about the criteria, course information and who to contact please read the document below from the Osgoldcross and Elmet Rotary.
