Edward Charles Hair Studio located on Low Street in the centre of Sherburn has some exciting changes to bring to the village in the next few weeks with the launch of their new services and business hours.
Edward Charles Hair Studio has been a well-established business in Sherburn for several years and owner, Sarah-Jayne Smith, was ready to develop the business into an establishment that had health, beauty, hairdressing and barbering services all under one roof.
After feeling as though there was a gap in the market for professional male barbering in the local area, Sarah-Jayne enlisted the skills of Zaza Barbers who will now be working in the downstairs room at the Salon, and they will be offering a range of Barbering services. They already have around 50 successful barbershops networked across the country and will be open seven days a week from approximately 7am until 6pm (exact hours to be announced soon). The decision to add a barbershop to the business wasn’t something that Sarah-Jayne took lightly and having trained and worked closely with Zaza Barbers she knew that they were precisely what Sherburn was missing and couldn’t wait to get them on board and make them part of the Edward Charles team.
Sarah-Jayne and her team will continue to offer hairdressing services in the newly refurbished first-floor studio where clients will be able to access a wide range of hair and beauty services. There is also the opportunity to get tailored fitness and nutritional support from Six50 who offer bespoke packages tailored to the needs of the individual. Sarah-Jayne said ‘a lot of thought and effort has gone into the new plans for the business and I’m really excited to see it grow and develop, and I hope that it will be a very positive thing for the village centre’.
The Barbers hope to open within the next week and will be open throughout the Christmas period offering a full range of barbering services and will only be closing for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. The Barbers will be offering a walk-in service only whereas the rest of the salon will be taking bookings and appointments in their usual way.
There will be an open day on Saturday 4th January 2020 where anyone can go along and see the new Hair Studio as well as watch live hair demos, meet the new team members as well as much more.
