The tennis courts are free to access, and you don’t have to pay, they are placed alongside Sherburn White Rose Football Club. On Saturdays, the ‘I Can Play Tennis’ company offers sessions for children which you have to pay for. If you want to go to the tennis courts at night, there two floodlights one on either side of the two courts. There is also a metal fence around the two courts so that the tennis balls do not get lost in the overgrowth as well as preventing them from rolling into the roads. Next to the tennis courts are some football pitches, with an on-site premises which include toilets and a bar as well as a bowls club. You can play on the tennis courts any time you want but you do have to bring your own equipment with you as there is no place to rent them.
