As we approach the 11th November – Armistice Day & Remembrance Day, it is important to remember all the people in the armed forces who have died in the line of duty.
Across Sherburn, you will see many displays to help mark Remembrance Day.
There are two banners at the crossroads in the middle of Sherburn, which James Stead kindly sourced, and the emblem between the two banners was made by Mark Hodgson.
The Gala Association have erected the four Solider lights that are up at each corner of the village.
A special thank you to all the people involved in putting up the banners and lights to help mark Remembrance Day.
