Elmet Lions came together to hold their February meeting at the Harold Mills Centre. Local groups and organisation were invited along to receive their donations that came from the Santa Sleigh collection that took place over Christmas. The Santa Sleigh visited Sherburn and surrounding villages to raise funds to support these local causes.
The event was a celebration which included tea and coffee with cakes and brownies. Elmet Lions President Maggie Hartley, then presented cheques to the following:
