AI in Schools is a York based digital education company helping schools and educators teach computing and AI with confidence. Founded by Dr Beth Lane, the company delivers hands-on training and workshops across England, from EYSF through to Key Stage 5, alongside dedicated programmes for young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).
UK schools face a shortage of qualified computing teachers, and the resources available for teaching AI have not kept pace with how quickly the technology is changing. This leaves a widening digital skills gap and no clear path into digital careers. AI in Schools seeks to supporting in closing that gap, giving educators the skills, confidence and up to date resources to prepare the next generation.
