Athelstan Primary School, in line with local housing developments, is going through a rapid period of growth, from October 2016 they have been providing Early Years provision for 2-Year-olds within their specially designed Raindrops room.
The school is a long time recipient of the Arts Council of Great Britain’s Arts Mark Gold Award, and the Athelstan Primary School holds an enviable record for our success in the arts (art, music, drama and dance). For the last four years, all of their Y6 children have left Athelstan Primary School holding Arts Mark Awards- the equivalent to a GCSE award.
The school holds many other national awards in recognition for the high level of achievement they continue to demonstrate in basic skills, ecology, science and most recently sport.
