Bethany Lauren Dance Company is based in Sherburn In Elmet and is a member of the International Dance Teacher’s Association. Bethany Lauren Dance Company specialises in Ballet, Tap, Musical Theatre, Street dance, Contemporary/lyrical, Stretching/ conditioning and Acro. Whether attending with intention of working in performing arts or attending for fun they provide a happy, safe learning environment making memories and creating hard working independent people.
Children who attend BLDC classes take part in their shows and performances. They perform at many local events throughout the year such as the Sherburn Gala and schools fairs within the area. They have also worked alongside Minster FM at many events such as the Tour de Yorkshire and down at the Sherburn Aero Club.
The children also take part in pantomimes. Previous ones include Aladdin, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Cinderella to name a few!
Bethany Lauren Dance Company have had many workshops by famous dance professionals such as Sam Dennis, Debbie Barrass, Jack Higgins and performers who work within the West end etc. The children love the workshops and various styles they are taught. It teaches them new skills and extends their training further.
