Elmete Social Club is a local club offering a variety of ales. In addition to their daily bar, Elmete Social Club also offers room hire which is suitable for parties, weddings and various other functions. Elmete Social Club hosts a Bingo night every Tuesday and Saturday which is fun for all ages. In addition to Bingo, live music is also played on a Saturday.
Elmete Social Club also offers a snooker and pool room, great for those who enjoy a bit of variety and fun. As well as this, the club also has a beer garden for the hot summer days. Elmete Social Club also hosts the Sherburn Market which has a variety of different stalls outside in the car park each week on a Wednesday morning.
