If so, please come and consider joining the RAF Air Cadets at Church Fenton.
They are a uniformed Youth Organisation, run by adult volunteers, aimed at developing young people with an interest in Aviation, delivering Training in multiple subjects and contributing back to civil society.
Whilst they are not a recruiting organisation for the RAF, they do offer a basic grounding and insight for those who might be considering a career in HM Armed Forces.
They offer a broad range of activities including: Flying, Gliding, Sport, Band, First Aid, Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards (at a very much reduced rate), Leadership, Fieldcraft, Marksmanship, Adventure Training, and Camps etc. They also offer a progressive training syllabus leading to a BTEC in Aviation Studies, and no additional cost.
They normally meet every Monday and Thursday evening from 7pm to 9.30pm.
