Sherburn in Elmet Local History Society has been running continuously since 1974. The club promotes interest in the history of Sherburn in Elmet, South Milford, the local area and historical matters in general.
New members are always welcome to join the club. Sherburn in Elmet Local History Society usually meets in the Sherburn in Elmet All Saints church hall on the third Tuesday of each month from October to April. During the summer months, they visit places of historical local interest.
Sherburn in Elmet Local History Society are happy to welcome visitors to any of their meetings for a small charge (usually £3) on the door.
