Sherburn Netball Club, established in 2004, is a local club providing weekly training by a qualified coach and competitive match opportunities for senior squads. They currently have three squads competing in the North Yorkshire Netball Ambassador League (NYNAL) and three squads in the York and District league, including the newly created U19s team, which aims to aid the progression of junior players into senior netball.
Led by a strong coaching team, including Helen Steele, Yorkshire’s Coach of the Year.
They currently operate a waiting list for senior training sessions and squads. Depending on positions played/level of play/changing dynamics in current squads etc, they endeavour to accommodate new senior members when possible.
The Club offers:
– Coaching and competitive opportunities to support and improve individual players’ performance to fulfil their potential
– Opportunity to play as part of a squad with focus of performance and improvement in competitive leagues
– A local progressive pathway
– Opportunities for players to enjoy netball and the social aspect of being part of our Club
