South Milford Women’s Institute is a local community based in South Milford. they have monthly meetings start at 7.30pm, the third Thursday of every month.
There are many reasons to become a member:
- Meet new friends with like minded interests, have fun and become an active member of your local women’s institute, whilst supporting the South Milford Community.
- Learn new skills, try out new hobbies or even share your own hobbies with the rest of your WI group.
- Receive eight issues per year of the WI membership magazine WI Life which is packed full of fantastic up to date news and events happening through out the UK.
- Membership of your local WI which also gives access to County and National Federation activities.
The WI hall is ideal for both children’s and adults’ parties and as a club venue. It is available for hire during the day and evening, seven days a week.
Hall hire includes the use of the following facilities:
- Main hall -Tables & chairs for both adults & children.
- Kitchen -Microwave; Fridge; Oven with hob; Hot water boiler; Kettle; Cutlery & crockery; Glasses.
- Toilets -including disabled and baby changing facilities.
- Parking -Our own car park.
- Garden -Enclosed garden with children’s play facilities.
- Central village location.
- Hire costs:
- £25 per session (morning, afternoon or evening) or for under 2 hours £20.
