“Care2” is a collection of online, fully funded courses designed specifically for unpaid caregivers; the aim is to give these learners an educational opportunity to do something specifically for themselves, outside of caregiving. As such, courses will focus around a wide range of diverse and interesting topics, such as history, wellbeing & literature.

These courses are open to anyone over the age of 19 who regularly provides care to someone else; whether a family member, a spouse or a friend. We understand there are so many people who care for others, but will not be able to formally identify as carers. Don’t worry- we do not check for proof of caring responsibilities.

Learners who do the courses tell them they are a lifeline and, for some, it is the best part of their day. Their learners report improved mental wellbeing, reduced feelings of loneliness and discover a new passion they may wish to pursue either professionally or in their own time.
