More community support officers have joined the North Yorkshire circuit. Chief Constable Dave Jones has recently welcomed 14 new PCSOs to the North Yorkshire Police team. The PCSOs will join safer neighbourhood policing teams across the county, where they will work with residents and businesses to tackle some of the day-to-day issues that arise in communities. Sherburn in Elmet is one of the 8 areas that will benefit from these new PCSOs, and these officers will soon becoming to the village to begin their work.
