This Christmas, with families across North Yorkshire feeling the ongoing impact of the cost of living crisis, we want to make you aware of a vital service to support your constituents.
FEAST offers children and young people across North Yorkshire activities during the school holidays, with free places and a free meal for eligible children and young people. Our sessions enable children to stay engaged, active, fed and warm this Christmas.
Over 50 providers from across the county will deliver activities this holiday, including sports, crafts, music, dance and outdoor pursuits. Many of these activities are inclusive for children and young people with special educational needs, and some are specifically designed for these children.
From next week, schools will send eligible families a voucher, which they can redeem to book their free FEAST places via the online portal HolidayActivities. To learn more about FEAST and the fantastic activities on offer, visit the FEAST website.
The FEAST programme is provided by North Yorkshire Together, commissioned by North Yorkshire Council and funded by the Department for Education.
