Sherburn High School have been working with a group of students at the school over the past few months to connect them with older people living in the community and to explore issues they care about together.
The listening event is the culmination of the project and an opportunity for the intergenerational group to share what they have been doing with key figures from the local community and those with relevant professional or voluntary interest.
The event is open to anyone in the local community who has a related interest possibly through voluntary work, or an interest in mental health or the local community would be equally welcome. It’s a celebration of the work also (and there will be pastries!)
The event will be held at Sherburn High School on Tuesday 7th March 9am until 11am.
