Road users please be aware that the speed limit in Barkston Ash has now been lowered to 30 mph (previously being 40 mph). The 30 mph limit is upon entering from Scarthingwell just past the school and then resorts back to 40 mph after the Ash Tree Inn.
This will help improve the safety of residents and in particularly the pupils coming to and from the school which is situated on the main road.
