Redrow, the developers behind the two new large housing developments in Sherburn in Elmet have donated outdoor equipment to the local primary schools.
Redrow who are building nearly 300 homes in the village have given Hungate and Athelstan primary schools bird and bat boxes to help the children discover nature.
Jamie Barrington, the Sales Consultant at Redrow visited the schools to present the boxes to the students. Jamie says “It is important that Redrow doesn’t just build homes, but helps the communities in which it builds to flourish too”.
Sherburn Hungate have a nature club which encourages the children to explore nature and the world around them. The new bird and bat boxes are a great addition to help them learn, whilst also having fun.
