UCI Road World Cycling Championships
There will be parking restrictions and road closures in place on Friday 27th September for the UCI Road World cycling championships. Milford Road, Low Street and Finkle Hill are amongst some of the roads which will be closed for the event, these roads will be closed from 9:40 – 10:40 and at 15:10 – 16:10. There will also be parking restrictions in place along the race route from Thursday 26th September 22:00 -Friday 27th September 17:10. Surrounding local villages such as Barkston Ash, South Milford and Monk Fryston will also be affected by road closures and parking restrictions along the race route.

MiNT Festival
MiNT Festival is being held at RAF Church Fenton/ Leeds East Airport again, this year on Saturday 28th September. There will be an increased amount of traffic around Church Fenton with lots of coaches and shuttle buses also going to the event. Whilst every effort has been taken to minimise disruption to local residents please be aware of any signposted road closures and diversions. The event will start at 10:00 and finish at 23:00 so you can expect roads to be busier around these times.
