This year’s gala has recently been confirmed and is planned to go ahead on Saturday the 21st of May 2022 for its 45th anniversary. Due to Covid, the gala was sadly cancelled in 2020 and 2021 meaning this year’s gala will be the first since 2019!
The Sherburn in Elmet Gala has been a well-loved tradition since 1977. It’s known for many things such as the gala king or queen and the gala parade that includes dancers, floats, and other acts that make their way through the village.
