We are pleased to announce that the Suspended Coffee Movement Scheme has been introduced in Sherburn! The idea of the movement is to spread kindness, create a sense of community, and restore peoples faith in humanity.
A suspended coffee is a ‘prepaid’ coffee (or other food/ beverages) which customers at a cafe can purchase to give to someone else. The service can be suspended until someone who needs it can claim it. Within Sherburn, there are currently three places involved with the movement. These are Penny’s, A Manos and Jackson’s Butchers.
It’s a wonderful initiative and would be lovely if we could get even more businesses within Sherburn involved. If any more businesses would like to gain any more information about the movement or find out how to become a member, you can see it here.
