Between Friday 27 and Sunday 29 December 2024, and on Sunday 5 January 2025, Northern, TransPennine Express and Cross Country trains will be amended between Leeds and York.
- Northern trains between York and Blackpool North will start and finish at Leeds
- Buses will replace Northern trains between Leeds and York/Selby, calling at all local stations
- TransPennine Express trains between Leeds and York will be diverted and running to an amended timetable, adding around 20 minutes to journey times
- TransPennine Express trains between Liverpool Lime Street and Hull will start and finish at Leeds and run every two hours. These trains will divert between Leeds and Selby, extending journey times.
- Cross Country trains will run to an amended timetable and will not run between Leeds and York
- On Friday 27 December, buses will replace TransPennine Express trains between Wakefield Kirkgate and York, calling at Normanton and Castleford
