We’re delighted to welcome Rocket Science, a research organisation commissioned by York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority, to Sherburn in Elmet on Tuesday 30th June as they spend the day listening to local voices about bus services.
They’ll be visiting several locations throughout the day:
Sherburn Community Larder (9–10am)
Sherburn & Villages Community Library (from 10:30am) – meeting with Sherburn Visiting Scheme and library visitors
Cuppa Connect at The Old Girls’ School Community Centre, Sherburn In Elmet (1-3pm) – come along for a cuppa and a conversation!
Rocket Science are keen to hear about your experiences, particularly around:
– Local bus services and transport across York and North Yorkshire
– Barriers to getting around – such as cost, availability, reliability, or accessibility
– How transport affects daily life (work, appointments, shopping, social activities)
– Ideas for improving transport and connectivity in rural communities
